Prison & Homelessness Campaign

Over 10% of prisoners are released to homelessness and will live on the streets. 2/3rd of those are likely to reoffend within a year.

Without somewhere to live we are setting people up to fail.

There must be basic housing for ex-offenders to break the chain – Cell.  Street.  Repeat.

The average cost of a prison place is almost £52,000 a year. A modular pod/ home for example costs half that, and is a one off cost.

We’ve been going into prisons for 36 years.  We keep seeing this cycle of prison and homelessness and our hope is that we can help to change public opinion and show that we can all play a part in ending this hopeless waste of money and of lives.

There is a way for everyone to help, and we’ve listed some on our web site HOW CAN I HELP?
